Google och Nintendo slår sina påsar ihop för att göra ett websökarspel döpt till Andou Kensaku.

Gamers searching for interesting new titles on the Wii can now look forward to a game about searching. Nintendo has enlisted the aid of Web search giant Google to power its new Japanese game Andou Kensaku.

Andou Kensaku adapts the premise of Google Fight into a party game for up to four players. The game incorporates its search function into a variety of minigames, asking players to pick from a variety of words the one that will return the most hits. The game will also make players choose between sentences or picking the combinations of words that will provide the highest hit count.

Players won't actually need to be online in order to play the game, but an Internet connection will allow the game to get the most current hit counts possible. Nintendo will also make additional questions available to download

Set for release on April 29, Andou Kensaku is a stand-alone retail game that will sell for ¥4,800 ($51). For more on the game (and its distinctive theme song), check out Andou Kensaku's official
